Whilst taking a break from our disciplines poster digitization, I remembered that I once saw a friend project his Casio CG-50 calculator screen onto his monitor and decided that I would also like to do this. After asking him some questions and some googling I found that I could download this 'Screen Receiver' software to my pc. Through reading what this does and intuition, I discovered that the calculator, whilst doing it's basic functions, took co-ordinates of its screen and noted what colour it is. This then was sent via a USB type A cable to my pc. Whilst having the app running and able to receive input, it would then take to co-ordinate data from the calculator and copy it down to its own display in the app. This allowed me to have my CG-50 on my pc but also able to she what I did on my calculator on the TV if anyone is stuck then they can see my steps and hopefully help.
If all goes well, it should work fine.
